Pictures of Bishop California and Lake Sabrina

Monday, March 2nd, 2009

A few months ago we drove up to Bishop, California from
our home in LA to do some camping and fishing. Bishop
California is located in the Eastern Sierra Nevada, a few
hours drive south of Lake Tahoe.

We went for the Bishop Mule Days. Along the way we took some
photos. This photo set of Bishop California comprises
of the drive up to Lake Sabrina from our original campsite
in Brown’s Town. Most of the Bishop motels were sold
out, but we were lucky to find a spot at Brown’s Town
campsite. The weather in Bishop California was mild
and sunny, although at night it got a bit chilly.

We first parked up in the parking lot of Lake Sabrina and
then took a few mile hike along the trail that goes directly
behind Lake Sabrina. We took a ton of photos and got
some really great shots of the Owens Valley.

After Lake Sabrina, we headed back down towards North
Lake and took a small hike along the rim of the lake by the
parking lot.

In order to keep this post from taking forever to load, I have
re-sized the images and lowered the resolution. If you would
like a free copy of any of the original pictures listed email
me and I will provide a full size photo free of charge. The file
size will be anywhere from 1-3 Megabytes and in high resolution.

Enjoy our pictures of Bishop California, Lake Sabrina and the
beautiful Eastern Sierra Nevadas !!
